In B League, the girls' skills will start to blossom in all areas of softball.  Players will be introduced to full time live pitching and stealing is allowed for the first time as well.  Girls will begin to understand the strike zone at this age and not just swing at every pitch.  Consistency in pitching strikes should be the goal for every coach, along with teaching the very basics of hitting, fielding and throwing.  Coaches will also start teaching basic softball strategies to go with the advancement of skills all the while making sure the girls have a good time playing.
